Arriving at the foot of the deadly guillotine
Louis 16 faces his destiny
He wonders why the drums stopped playing the death march
He comes forward to speak, but the (exe)cutioners go on with their work

Strapped down on his knees the king exclaimed in fear:
"My people I die innocent
"I'm innocent of everything of which I am accused.
I give my blood for the fortune of the french"
